The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Technical) with solid data and integration skills. Evenergi provides products and consulting services that help organisations plan for and transition their fleets to zero emissions. The Role

The role is highly varied and will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with the Evenergi team to define concept papers, product requirements and use cases, using agile methods.
  • Bringing a customer perspective to solution design ensuring solutions promote scalability and smart practices. 
  • Providing detailed data mapping between external APIs and internally defined data models. 
  • Working with the development team to develop conceptual diagrams and architectural artefacts.
  • Assisting the engineers and developers in quality assurance of new and enhanced products.
  • Supporting the preparation for go-to-market of new and enhanced products by developing technical supporting materials.

Skills and attributes for success

  • You have at least 7 years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Engineering role working with technical products e.g. industrial systems, telemetry, fleet. 
  • Strong conceptual modeling, technical writing and communication skills are essential. You have advanced working knowledge of complex data structures and algorithmic based solutions.  
  • You have highly developed problem-solving skills and a proven reputation for being an innovative and strategic thinker.
  • The structure is flat and the process agile and super-lean so you need to be independent and a self starter.

Your key responsibilities

The role is responsible for executing Evenergi’s strategic vision, including growth, delivery, product and team, for Australia and New Zealand. Specifically, you will: 

  • Establish a strong corporate profile and industry influence through market development and zero-emission thought leadership and advocacy.   
  • Lead and manage the company’s growth agenda through developing a strong pipeline of work and executive engagement on key accounts. 
  • Lead the team in developing zero-emissions transport-based strategic propositions, primarily for heavy vehicles (buses, trucks), but may also include mode-shift (including electrification of rideshare) active transport, and behavioural change.
  • Lead the team in developing leading edge products that continuously raise the bar in achieving a zero emissions future and win the trust of our customers by making it easy to do business with us. 
  • Attract, retain and develop talent to meet the continuous evolution of our company’s and our customers’ needs.

Skills and attributes for success

You are a high calibre executive, with a track record of success in BD, Consulting and Product: 

Must haves:

  • A deep understanding of one or more of the following: energy markets, transport planning, vehicle electrification, green hydrogen for transport, connected vehicle technology
  • Understanding of energy modelling, economic modelling or transport modelling
  • Strong (10+ years) B2B sales and consulting experience in professional services (including engineering, planning, energy advisory or management consulting).
  • The ability to lead from the front in a hands-on manner as you develop a high performing team that works from the core values of transparency, eco-activity and empathy.  
  • A degree in transport planning, engineering, environmental science, business management or sustainability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to think strategically

Ideally you will also have knowledge of some of the following

  • Well-established networks preferably in transport or energy sectors
  • Interest in sustainability, preferably in the transport sector

We are looking for a high performer to lead our Zero Emissions Automotive Consulting team delivering solutions for our customers who run large fleets, typically, in the government (transport and municipal), logistics and utility sectors. The role can be based anywhere in the Australian Eastern State time-zone.

You will join a passionate team of market leaders in building zero emissions transport solutions.  The role

  • Design and deliver solutions for our customers helping them to plan and optimise the transition of their fleet to zero emission vehicles. 
  • Analyse the business of each customer and the ‘fit for purpose profiles’ of their fleet. Your work will include developing models to emulate zero emission fleets to a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Develop the models into recommendations and fully formed transition plans including financial plans and emissions comparisons.
  • You will be supported by a small team of industry experts and you will continually identify and attract talent to complement the existing team.
  • You will leverage your network across the government, public and private sector and support Business Development activities.   
  • As a principal sponsor of the Evenergi Betterfleet platform you will seek opportunities to continually enhance the product suite.

The role

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.

  • Prepare high quality written material for strategic proposals, advocacy strategies, grant submissions. 
  • Ensure our product suite is continually augmented to meet emerging market requirements through working with customers and industry thought-leaders to develop ideas through to ‘proof of concepts’.

 Skills and attributes for success

Must Have:

  • Complex B2B solution experience in either Account Management, Business Development or Product Management. 
  • Experience in working across multiple key accounts, including government. Your industry expertise is ideally in automotive, transport, logistics or energy.  
  • In terms of cultural fit, you need to be a self starter, able to operate at a fast pace in an ever changing environment.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in transport planning, engineering, environmental science, business management or sustainability

Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Mid level Full Stack Developer with solid engineering DevOps experience to join a passionate team of market leaders in building zero emissions transport solutions. You will report directly to the London based Chief Technology Officer. Work from home /remote work is available for this role, anywhere in the Australian Eastern Timezone.

The Role

  • You will be a key player in a small global tech team. The structure is flat and the process super-lean, focusing on a culture of test driven development, continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • You will work with a hive of industry experts to develop cutting edge algorithms that emulate zero emission fleets to a high degree of accuracy. 
  • You will be involved in the full stack development of new products, to support our consultants in planning, modelling and optimising zero emission transport solutions (vehicle and infrastructure). Our customer base is varied and includes Commercial Fleet, Heavy Vehicle and Bus Operators as well as DNSPs and Investment Banks. 
  • Additionally you will support, enhance and seek opportunities to incrementally refactor existing code to reduce future tech debt.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 5 years of strong agile/DevOps experience across the full software lifecycle including demonstrated high-level proficiency with Python. 
  • Solid experience in test driven development, continuous integration and deployment practices including automated test frameworks and unit testing tools. 
  • You have most likely worked in the energy, logistics  or transport sectors where solutions involve the development of highly complex algorithmic based code (possibly route optimisation, telematics/GPS, risk modelling, mark to market type products).You understand data structures and are experienced in data extraction, structured and unstructured databases, scalable webservice APIs.
  • Strong conceptual modeling, technical writing and communication skills are essential. We move fast here. Efficient and succinct communication is key to that pace.
  • You must have good estimation and prioritisation skills and be experienced in developing timeframes.  
  • A self starter. We’re a small and growing team and we need people to jump right in and add value as soon as possible.
